Scouting is a remarkable movement that brings amazing benefits to children, leaders, parents and everyone involved with the running of the group.

Through adventure, we help our scouts develop team-work skills, friendships, confidence, independence, responsibility and a ‘can do’ attitude to help prepare them for the wider world.

1st Englefield Green is a thriving Scout Group serving the village and surrounding area of Englefield Green, Surrey.

We have three busy Sections, catering for boys and girls, and are part of The Scout Association, which was founded in 1907.

Boys and girls are welcome into these Sections at the following ages:

  • Beavers: 6-8 years old (Mondays, 18:00-19:15)
  • Cubs: 8-10.5 years old (Wednesdays, 18.45-20.15)
  • Scouts: 10.5-14 years old (Fridays, 19.15-21:00)
